Welcome to speechroom.com! We offer dozens of products designed to teach speech sounds, social language, safety skills, and language proficiency in a school, clinical, or home setting. Articulation Games
World of R CD
These 21 decks of flashcards are based on the eight variations of the phoneme /r/. Each phoneme is further broken down into Initial, medial, and final word position. Each type is represented by a separate playing card deck of 20 paired cards. It enables clinicians the ability to easily and effectively target the specific variations of the phoneme /r/. This CD includes a printable screening form and the ability to play a memory game and tic-tac-toe with each type of /r/.
Articulation Baseball Cards
This CD targets the l, s, r, th, sh, f, k, and p phonemes through the use of baseball cards. Print nine cards each from the Seattle Circles, Raleigh Triangles, Staten Island Stars, and Oakland Ovals. Randy "The Rainbow" Rain and Sally "The Swing" Set are examples of two of the players drawn for these baseball cards. Your students may also pick two teams and play the baseball game that utilizes the cards. After clicking on the pitch button, the clinician or student clicks and drags markers around the bases while keeping score and number of outs. This resource is a great change of pace for older articulation students.
Language Games
Irregular Verb Videos
Teach irregular verbs with the help of videos. These 56 video clips allow children to see an action before prompting them to use the correct verb form. Recording function allows children to hear their own voice using the correct verb tense. Print the flashcards for traditional practice. This program is also a great way to practice present progressive "ing" and the pronouns he and she.
What's Different, What's Wrong
Whether used on the computer or printed for flashcards, these 150 pictures will help stimulate conversation. Children are able to watch these 50 pictures change to something different or something wrong with a roll of the computer mouse. Watch a picture of a boy with his bicycle change to a picture of a bicycle without the boy and then to picture of a bicycle with orange slice wheels. Children love to predict what will be different or wrong with these photos.
